For the next three days the site will be on hold as the Bureau is involved in running a major conference here in Middelburg –  ’The Obama Effect: Transatlantic Relations Past and Future’.

The event kicks off this afternoon with the keynote lecture by Dr Jamie Shea, Head of Policy Planning for NATO. Further plenary lectures are being held by Prof. Scott Lucas on Thursday morning (US Foreign Policy under Obama) and Prof. Marcel Wissenburg on Friday morning (Green Politics and the Transatlantic Relationship).
